1. Nature of the investment
The investment plans offered by Helvetica Credit Investment AG provide exposure to a portfolio of private credit instruments, including senior secured corporate loans, asset backed bridge finance, infrastructure and project debt, mezzanine and unitranche positions and specialty finance receivables. Returns depend on borrowers meeting their payment obligations. Private credit is not traded on a public exchange and does not benefit from a public market price or continuous liquidity.
2. Target yields are not guaranteed
Each plan displays a target daily yield. Targets are set by our investment committee based on contracted interest income and expected credit performance. They are not a promise of return. Actual results may be lower than target, and in adverse scenarios may be negative. Past performance of any plan is not a reliable indicator of future results.
3. Credit risk
Borrowers in the underlying portfolio may fail to pay interest or repay principal. Although we lend against collateral and contracted cash flows, the value of collateral may fall, enforcement may be slow or costly, and recoveries may be less than the amount owed. Concentration in particular sectors, regions or borrowers may increase this risk.
4. Liquidity risk
Investments are made for a fixed term. Early exit is available only on the terms described in the Terms of Service, is subject to an exit fee and forfeits unpaid yield. In exceptional market conditions we may need to delay withdrawals while underlying positions are realised. You should invest only funds that you do not need for a defined period.
5. Interest rate and market risk
Changes in interest rates affect the value and refinancing prospects of borrowers. Economic downturns, inflation, geopolitical events and regulatory changes can increase defaults and reduce recoveries across the portfolio.
6. Digital asset risk
If you deposit or withdraw in digital assets, you are exposed to price volatility between the moment a payment is created and the moment it is confirmed, to network congestion and fee changes, and to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions. Funds sent to an incorrect address or on an unsupported network may be unrecoverable. We convert deposits to United States dollars at the time of crediting and do not hold client balances in digital assets.
7. Currency risk
All wallet balances, investments and yields are denominated in United States dollars. If your reference currency is different, the value of your investment expressed in your currency will fluctuate with exchange rates.
8. Operational and technology risk
We rely on information systems, third party payment processors, banking partners and telecommunications networks. Failures, cyber attacks or errors could delay transactions or temporarily restrict access to the platform. We maintain security controls, backups and business continuity plans, but no system is immune from disruption.
9. Regulatory and tax risk
Changes in law or regulation in Switzerland or in your country of residence could affect the availability of our services, the treatment of your investment or the taxes you owe. You are responsible for determining and meeting your own tax obligations. We provide tax summaries for convenience only; they do not constitute tax advice.
10. Counterparty risk
Client assets are held with regulated banking and custody partners as described in our Custody Statement. The insolvency of a partner could delay access to funds even where assets are segregated.
11. No advice
Information on this platform, including the return calculator, portfolio analytics and goal planning tools, is provided for information and illustration only. It does not constitute investment, legal or tax advice and does not take account of your personal circumstances. You should consider whether an investment is appropriate for you and seek independent advice where necessary.
12. Suitability
Private credit may be unsuitable for investors who require immediate liquidity, who cannot afford to lose capital, or who do not understand the risks described above. By investing you confirm that you have read this disclosure, that you understand the risks and that you are investing on your own judgement.
